In keeping with its mission the Winnipeg Clinic has enhanced its technological platform, (previously limited to booking of appointments and billings) with the introduction of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) throughout the Clinic effective December 2006.
With the information technology physicians will have medical records of visits to any doctor in the Clinic, together with laboratory, surgical and radiological reports at the proverbial "click of the mouse".
In the next few months, patients will also benefit from handouts to assist them in their care, information on common clinical conditions in user friendly language, all geared towards healthier living and lifestyles.
